Edme Samson Paris porcelain Chinoiserie bowl
SKU: CW14Antique porcelain chinoiserie bowl, decorated with a Chinese decor in famille rose style. The dish is ribbed and has a combined under- and overglaze. Depicted is a decor of blooming flowers, a tree with hanging branches and birds in flight.
Not marked. Attributed to Samson, Paris, around 1900. Samson only made high-quality reproductions of, among others, Meissen, Sevres and Chinese export porcelain. These reproductions are now collector's items themselves.
Dimensions: diameter of 20.5 cm and is 5 cm high. The stand ring has a diameter of 10.5 cm.
