Capodimonte porcelain trinket box
SKU: VAN10Antique porcelain trinket box with a bouquet of a pink rose and a blue violet. The box has a double wall, with the outer wall being laid over the inner wall in a hand-woven manner.
Marked with a five-pointed crown and below the letter N in blue, with dark outer edge; Capodimonte, Italy.
Dimensions: diameter 9 cm, height 5.5 cm without lid.
Condition: the start of the applied clay strips of the wickerwork is clearly visible, these are not cracks. The lid has some tiny specks of paintwork. The tip of the flowers has broken off at two flower buds and the violet has a minuscule chip. These defects can only be seen on close examination.
