Schoenau und Co Huttensteinach antique bowl late 19th century
SKU: SD95Antique bone china bowl, decorated with cobaltblue Strohblumenmuster pattern and gold trim. Made late 19th century by Schönau & Co. In 1920 Schönau & Co (Hüttensteinach, Germany), in 1817 founded as Greiner & Künzel, merged with Swaine & Co and is called Gebrüder Schönau, Swaine & Co. The mark with the 2 crossed pipes and the letters S, C and H, dates the bowl before this merger, around 1890. The bowl is also handmarked with modelnumber 22.
Measurements: diameter bowl 13,3 cm, 6 cm high.
Condition: tiny chip on the bowl's rim (see picture 2).
