Chinese 1950 Wan Shou Wu Jiang yellow porcelain ginger jar
SKU: CW90Yellow porcelain Famille Rose ginger jar, decorated with the lucky characters 'innumerable, longevity, and the composite character 'limitless' in medallions. The background consists of lotus vines and the Bao Xiang Hua flower pattern, an imaginary flower with elements of the poppy, lotus and chrysanthemum. Also decorated with the Shou symbol in red surmounted by a bat.
Marked with the round iron red mark: Jiangxi Jingdezhen Ming 2 Ci, used in the 1950s and early 1960s.
Dimensions: diameter base ring 7 cm, height including lid 12.5 cm.
In good used condition. The lid has a chip on the inside edge, see pictures.
