Portmeirion vintage pottery apothecary canister for sugar
SKU: SD249Portmeirion earthenware apothecary jar for sugar, part of a series of 12 jars. Rare collector's item from the early sixties. The canister is decorated with an image of the antique car model The Little Briton 1909 and of the world's first iron bridge, built in 1779.
Base marked with the serial number 10/63, the Portmeirion mark and the text 'With compliments, Tractor Spares LTD, The little Briton 1909, Worlds first iron bridge 1779.
Dimensions: diameter base 11.3 cm, height including lid 19.5 cm.
Condition: in excellent undamaged condition with some light wear consistent with age and use.
