Overshot glass spirit flagon decanter 19th century
SKU: GD56Overshot crystal cruet decanter with a flattened circular body, a transparent celery handle and facet cut ball stopper. Overshot glass was made by rolling the blown glass through finely ground glass shards, creating a textured surface. Dating around 1880, possibly Harrach or Boston & Sandwich, USA.
Polished pontil.
Dimensions: 22,5 cm high (including stopper), the bottle measures 14 cm x 9 cm.
Condition: excellent.
