Chinese porcelain Min Yao bowl
SKU: CW96Antique octagonal Min Yao (= for the common man) bowl, decorated on the outside with chrysanthemums in deep cobalt blue and with a text in Chinese characters. The inside is decorated with blue piping and a circle with flower. The decoration slightly flared during firing. Made in Jingdezhen, China, in the second half of the 19th century.
Base marked, Wanyu mark?
Dimensions: 20 cm x 20 cm and 5.5 cm high.
Condition: in good condition with some sand grains in underglaze.
