Rudolf Waechter oval porcelain Empire style basket with Angelica Kauffmann transfer print
SKU: SD290Oval porcelain basket with reticulated gallery and swags, decorated in the middle with a transfer print of a work by Angela Kauffmann (1741 - 1807). Made around 1930 by an unknown porcelain producer and decorated in Empire style in the studio of Rudolf Wächter, who specialized in decorating white porcelain. The decorated end products were then sold under his name.
Not marked, but with certainty Rudolf Wächter.
Dimensions: 31.5 cm x 20.7 cm and 6.3 cm high.
Condition: in good condition with practically no wear on decoration and gold. The gallery has a production error in underglaze, see pictures. A tiny lump of clay is baked on the side of the stand ring at the underside.
