A pair of 19th century porcelain cups and saucers, lobed shaped and trimmed with a thick gold trim. Decorated all around with a Grisaille decor of a mother with her two children playing in a garden. The dish is decorated with a geometric flower.
A set is marked with a notched XI on both cup and saucer. In the other set, only the dish is marked with a notched I. Can be dated to the early 19th century, around 1830, possibly Paris or Bruxelles.
Dimensions: saucer diameter 14.1 cm. The head is 6 cm high and has a diameter of 9.7 cm.
In undamaged condition with only some wear of the gold on the edges of the cup and saucer.
