Edme Samson Paris porcelain cake sandwich plate
SKU: SD372Beautifully decorated rectangular serving dish for sandwiches or cake, ideal for a high tea. The plate is made of a heavy quality porcelain and is painted with a frame with flowers bordered by a pink and a gold trim. This is a reproduction of Chinese export porcelain, made by the French producer Samson. Samson exclusively made high-quality reproductions of Meissen, Sevres and Chinese export porcelain. These reproductions have since become collector items themselves. To be dated around 1910.
Marked on the underside with a golden hand mark, a hand-signed printing mark in underglaze and also in underglaze model on production numbers 1036 and 34.
Dimensions: 31.3 cm x 15.7 cm. Upright edge 3 cm high.
Condition: in beautiful condition, without traces of use and without wear.
