Netsuke are belt buttons in the form of sculptures. They were invented in 17th-century Japan to connect fabric bags or boxes with the belt of traditional Japanese clothing (which had no pockets).
Dimensions: 3.5 cm x 3.2 cm and 5.2 cm high.
