Japanese porcelain cup and saucer, decorated with cranes and The Three Friends of Winter pattern (bamboo, pine and prunus), symbol of steadfastness, perseverance and resilience in East Asian culture. Beautifully painted in fresh colors. The bottom of the cup has a litophane Geisha image (the so-called Garland Geisha).
Marked on the base of the dish with Eiwa Kinsei ('respectfully made by Eiwa'). Made around 1970.
Dimensions: diameter saucer 13.2 cm, diameter cup 8.8 cm and 4.5 cm high.
Condition: excellent. No damage, no wear of the decoration.
