Art Deco silver plated teapot with creamer set
SKU: TAVZ181Beautiful Art Deco silver-plated set consisting of a teapot and a matching creamer set. The teapot has a filter on the inside and a content of 750 ml. Made around 1930, probably in Germany.
Marked with an eagle on the underside of the sugar bowl, partly visible on the underside of the teapot and the creamer is not marked.
Dimensions: sugar bowl diameter 9.5 cm, 8 cm high, creamer; from spout to handle 9.5 cm and 9 cm high, teapot; from spout to handle 19 cm and 16.5 cm high.
Condition: creamer: minimal signs of wear, some silver wear on the bottom and very light on the opening edge. Sugar bowl: the lid is missing, some silver wear on the bottom and very light on the opening edge. The teapot has a dent on the base ring, barely visible when the pot is standing. A couple of oxidation spots on a clean interior. A small spot of silver wear on the hinge of the lid.
