Antique Dresden Biedermeier purple porcelain centrepiece handled dish tray
SKU: SD496Antique large porcelain handled tray that probably served as a saucer for a terrine or jardinière. Also excellent for use as a hors d'oeuvres dish or for fruits de mer. The tray is painted with great craftsmanship and attention to detail in Biedermeier style with wild flowers, including poppies, and butterflies. The handles are decorated with a purple floral decor. Made in Dresden in the first half of the 19th century.
