Noritake Nippon Tokusei Sakura Blossom creamer with dish
SKU: CW57Beautiful Nippon Tokusei milk jug on a separate saucer. Both items are decorated with a transfer print of the striking blue and white Sakura blossom pattern.
The mark 'Nippon Tokusei' (= Japan Special Made) with the rising sun in blue, is attributed to the Japanese manufacturer Noritake. The order of the two top characters of the brand that represent the word Nippon, from right to left, indicates manufacture before World War II. Tokusei ware with the word Nippon written from left to right was produced after World War II.
This set is pre WWII, produced for export between 1926 and 1945.
Dimensions: diameter small saucer 9 cm, milk jug 7.5 cm high.
