Ilmenau Thuringia Strawflower porcelain cup with saucer 18th century
SKU: SD49118th century porcelain cup with saucer decorated with Strawflower pattern. Cup and saucer are decorated in the center with a flower with straight stem.
Marked on the base in underglaze with a hand-painted cloverleaf in blue. This mark was used between 1788 and 1800 by both Ilmenau and Limbach. The shape of the cup, with a more narrow base ring, and the center decoration of the cup and saucer used indicate that this is Ilmenau.
Dimensions: saucer diameter 13.4 cm, saucer upright edge 3 cm, diameter cup 8 cm, diameter stand ring 3.5 cm, height cup 5 cm.
In beautiful condition, without signs of use.
