SPM Walkure antique porcelain chocolate kettle teapot
SKU: BW77Antique porcelain chocolate or tea pot, glazed in warm orange with heavily gilded details. The handle is made of bamboo and is of recent date.
Produced between 1899 and 1910 by Porzellan factory Siegmund Paul Meyer (SPM) in Bayreuth, Germany. SPM was founded in 1899 and later turned into what is now known as Walküre porcelain factory.
Signed: SPM Walküre and model number 3. First model in a series of durable household porcelain that proved to be very successful and was also continued by Walküre.
Dimensions: from back to spout 20.5 cm, 16 cm high (measured without handle).
Content: 1.7 liters.
Condition: The pot is in nice used condition, the gold does have some wear, see photos. The lid has an antique repair on the inside with an iron staple to fix the broken button.
