Haviland Limoges porcelain lidded soup tureen sauce bowl
SKU: SD533Antique French porcelain lidded soup tureen or sauce bowl with attached plate, made around 1850.
Decorated with great craftsmanship and very delicately with a blue and gold band, with a flower garland in pink and green tones. The edges are gilded, as is the lid knob which is shaped like an artichoke.
Not signed, attributed to manufacturer Haviland, Paris.
Dimensions: the plate 23.5 cm x 16 cm, the bowl 19 cm x 11 cm, 15 cm total height.
Condition: excellent, no damage, a single shrinkage crack on the base ring, some light wear of the gold on the edges and on the knob of the lid.
