19th century silver-plated asparagus tongs, made by the French silversmith Alphonse Boulenger in Paris between 1860 and 1900. Engraved on both sides with a crowned monogram.
Marked with three hallmarks; the letters AB in an oval with four stars and a half moon, a square with Blanc (for metal blanc) and two stars, and the name Boulenger.
Dimensions: 24.5 cm long, the blades of the tongs are 2.7 cm wide.
Condition: in beautiful, used condition.
