Porcelain tea cup with saucer made in England by Rockingham Works Pottery in Swinton. Dated between 1830 and 1837. Cup and saucer are hand-decorated in Rococo style in emerald green and gold with pattern 1276; a landscape with country house.
Marked: on the base of the saucer in purple with a griffin, Rockingham Works, Brameld, Manufacturer to the King. Also hand-marked, on both cup and saucer, in red with pattern number 1276.
Dimensions: saucer diameter 15 cm, cup diameter 10.5 cm and 5 cm high.
In excellent condition, no damage, no wear of the gold. Two tiny grains of sand on the saucer (see photo 7).
