Antique Chinoiserie Batavia Brown style koi carp cup
SKU: CW229Porcelain cup and saucer in Batavia Brown style, with the white inner sides of the cup and saucer decorated with a blue transferware print of Koi carp. The outside of the cup and saucer are covered with a brown glaze with a satin finish. Made in Japan.
Not marked. Dating from the end of the 19th century (between 1890 and 1900).
Dimensions: saucer diameter 13.2 cm, cup diameter 8.7 cm and 5 cm high.
In beautiful, used condition. The ear has a small flake, see photo.
