Japanese Phoenix ware lidded sugar bowl
SKU: CW232Large porcelain lidded sugar bowl with two handles, decorated with the blue and white transfer print Flying Phoenix, which was popular in Japan between 1900 and 1945. Phoenixware was mainly made for export. This bowl can be dated around 1920 - 1930.
Hand-marked in blue: Dai Nippon (Japan).
Dimensions: from ear to ear 14 cm, height including lid 12.5 cm.
Condition: in beautiful used condition with normal signs of wear, no damage.
