Porcelain milk jug decorated with the blue and white transfer print Flying Phoenix, which was popular in Japan between 1900 and 1945. Phoenixware was mainly made for export. Can be dated around 1920 - 1930.
Marked in blue: Dai Nippon (Japan).
Dimensions: 11.4 cm high.
In beautiful, used condition, no damage. It looks like the edge has a chip (photo 2, left of the handle), but this is a glazed production flaw.
