Large porcelain plate decorated with a scene of a couple in love, a so-called Courting Couple, inspired by the work of the painter Fragonard. The pastel green color of the plate with the brightly colored print on it makes it a real eye-catcher. Made by Gloria porzellan in Bayreuth, Germany in the 1960s.
Marked on the back in gold: Gloria and the name of the series; Alt Wien.
Dimensions: diameter 26.7 cm.
Condition: in excellent used condition with a single wear spot on the glaze.
