French Alsace stoneware jug 19th century
SKU: AW406Antique salt-glazed stoneware oil jug, made in the Alsace, France. Large model. Decorated in dark cobalt blue on sand gray with a pattern of semicircles filled with flowers. Two bands with circular patterns towards the neck. The body of the pitcher is partially ribbed. Dating from the first half of the 19th century.
Dimensions: 37 cm high.
In good used condition with traces consistent with age and use. Some minor imperfections that have arisen during the firing process, normal for salt-glazed earthenware. The photos are part of the description.
