Chinese 1960 turquoise porcelain Wan Shou ginger jar
SKU: CW247Vintage porcelain ginger jar produced in the 1960s in Jingdezhen, China. Hand decorated on a turquoise background with the Bao Xiang Hua flower pattern, an imaginary flower with elements of the poppy, lotus and chrysanthemum. Two cartouches, one decorated with a flowering prunus branch, the other decorated with a bird on a blossom branch. The lid is decorated with the Shou symbol in red.
Marked: "Jiangxi Jingdezhen Reputable Porcelain factory N".
Dimensions: base diameter: 8 cm. Height, excluding lid: 10.5 cm.
Condition: excellent, no cracks or damage.
