Biedermeier Dutch silver pour spout bottle stopper
SKU: WA100
€ 120,00
Ornate two-piece silver bottle stopper with pour spout made in the Netherlands during the Biedermeier period, first half of the 19th century. Both cork and cap are decorated with a beaded rim. The cap has a floral engraving on the top. The cork is engraved with a double scalloped line. The engravings are very detailed.
Both parts are marked with the sword for Dutch small silver that was used between 1814 and 1906 and a maker's mark that is difficult for me to read.
Dimensions: length 7.3 cm, diameter pouring cork 2 cm.
Condition: good.
