Georg Schmider Zell Jugendstil barbotine majolica fruit bowl and fruit colander
SKU: AW431Beautiful Jugendstil majolica set of a shallow fruit bowl and fruit drainer made by producer Georg Schmider in Zell, Germany, around 1910. Both teal parts are decorated on the inside with a wicker basket pattern in relief, with branches with apricots. The fruit colander stands on three feet, the fruit bowl has two recesses as handles. Refined use of color, excellent finish. Can be used individually and as a set.
Both parts marked on the underside with model number 2230.
Dimensions: diameter fruit colander 23.3 cm, diameter fruit bowl 28.3 cm.
