Rice grain porcelain bowl with matching spoon. Hand painted with blue, red and gold. Marked on the base: Zhong Guo Jingdezhen Zhi', dated around 1960.
Rice grain porcelain is made by making holes in the clay wall in the shape of a grain of rice and filling them with glaze during glazing, so that the porcelain becomes translucent after firing.
Dimensions: diameter 11.7 cm. Height 5.5 cm. Spoon length 14.3 cm.
In good used condition, no damage. Wear of the gold on the outside of the bowl.
