Hand decorated with the Raffaellesco decor. This decor is inspired by the 16th century frescoes created by the painter Raphael in the Vatican. Raphael captured a dragon-like figure, the Grottesque, which has since been a symbol of blessings and happiness. In Deruta it is said that with a Raffaellesco item in the house, the misfortune passes your house.
