T Rathbone Flow blue teapot Chinese reproduction
SKU: SD799Porcelain teapot decorated in Flow blue style. Gilded details. The pot was made in China around 1960 after the original by the English company T. Rathbone. Flow blue products were made in Staffordshire in the early 19th century, around 1820. The cobalt blue transferware print blurred during the heating process.
Marked on the underside. The base ring is unglazed, an indication that this is a reproduction.
Dimensions: from handle to spout 21 cm. Content 500 ml.
