Wiskemann Brussels silver plated oyster forks 19th century
SKU: BA41Set of 12 silver-plated oyster forks in the original case lined with off-white silk. The forks are decorated double-sided in Empire style with a variation on the Crossband pattern with bows.
Producer: Orfevrerie Wiskemann, Brussels, Belgium, late 19th century. Marked on the frontside of the forks with OW and 24 for the silver plating.
Dimensions: the forks are 13.4 cm long. The box measures 15cm x 15.5cm.
Condition: the forks are in excellent condition. The silk lining of the box has a stain and is frayed on the hinge.
