How to make an Oeuf en Cocotte?
Break an egg into the dish. Fill a larger baking dish with a layer of hot water and place the small baking dishes in it until they are about half covered with water. Place the large bowl in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, depending on how hard or soft you want the egg to be. Remove the small dishes from the larger dish and serve the oeuf en cocotte with some grated cheese and possibly other garnish. Voila!
