Louis Henry Strasbourg antieke faience foie gras tureen
SKU: AW476Antique faience earthenware tureen for foie gras, can also be used very well as a butter dish. The small round tureen has two lion heads and a lid with knob. The lid is still partially covered with the old paper label; Louis Henry Strasbourg, pâté de foie gras. The label is worn on the edge in a few places and is partially taped to the lid.
Can be dated to the first half of the 20th century, around 1910.
Marked on the bottom: terrine brevetee, Le Cachet, France, no 12.
Dimensions: diameter 11 cm, height 6.5 cm.
In good used condition with wear of the paper label.
