Este Ceramiche Porcellane from the town of the same name in the Veneto district of Italy, enjoys a long reputation for quality earthenware and porcelain. Located on a canal leading to Venice, large-scale production for the wealthy Venetian merchants took place here as early as the 18th century. The factory was revived around 1950 and since then Este has been a big name in ceramic tableware worldwide. The company produces a line of luxury porcelain for Tiffany & Co, among others. Este porcelain is recognizable by the embossed figures, the beautiful handicraft and the very high quality of the end result.
