Rauenstein Greiner Strawflower porcelain lidded butter dish 19th century
SKU: SD697Very rare Rauenstein Greiner ribbed porcelain lidded butter dish, hand decorated with the blue and white Strawflower pattern.
Based on the marking on the base, it can be dated around 1850. The mark in blue with the two crossed swords and the letters R-n was already used in 1800 (in several colours). Also marked with model number 2.
Dimensions: diameter outside 18 cm. Diameter inside 8 cm. Diameter lid 10 cm.
Condition: the knob of the lid has been repaired, see photos. This is included in the price.
