Faiencerie de Thulin Tellurite Art Deco lidded vegetable tureen 1139
SKU: AW1001Tureen with handle and lid made of majolica earthenware and glazed in the colors green, blue-green and brown. The tureen is designed as a woven basket and the lid has a surface decoration of various vegetables. The inside is glazed in cream color.
Produced between 1920 and 1930 in Belgium by faiencerie de Thulin (Belgium), which was founded in 1887. The series of oven-safe products was named 'Tellurite'.
Marked on the base: Made in Belgium, Tellurite, model number 1139.
Dimensions: capacity 1/2 liter. Diameter 15 cm, 7 cm high (measured without lid).
In excellent pre-owned condition, some light crackle on the inside, normal for used earthenware.
