Beautifully decorated Hirado dish from the Meiji period (1868 - 1912). Blue and white in underglaze, red and gold in overglaze. Three panels are decorated with ladies, a bird and a landscape. Two spots with baked-on sand grains.
Blue six character marks on the underside.
Dimensions: diameter 12.7 cm.
Condition: an inconspicuous hairline.
