Japanse Taisho Satsuma Gosu Cobalt Blue cups with saucers
SKU: AZ1004Four Japanese Satsuma cups and saucers made of earthenware. Glazed in deep cobalt blue (Gosu Blue) and decorated with panels with Geishas and a Rivers Edge decor. Decorated with gold flowers on the cobalt blue.
Marked on the underside of all parts, Maruni around 1920 (Taisho period).
Dimensions: diameter of saucers 13.5 cm, diameter of cup 9 cm and 5 cm high.
In excellent pre-owned condition. The base rings of 1 saucer and 1 cup have an inconspicuous chip.
