English Jelly glass, Victorian circa 1870. Jelly glasses were used for serving gelatin-based desserts. The glass stands on a wide, thick foot and is cut all around with oval panels.
Dimensions: base diameter 5.5 cm, glass opening diameter 6.5 cm, height 8.8 cm.
In excellent condition, a tiny flea bite between two oval cut facets, mentioned for completeness.
