Art Deco English silver plated menage cruet set
SKU: TAVZ1008An English menage set with cut crystal bottles and silver-plated holder.
The bottles are cut with vertical strips and diamond pattrn. The bottles consist of:
- a salt and pepper shaker in bottle shape with silver-plated frame. Loose sprinkle caps with round button.
- a bottle for oil or vinegar with a faceted crystal stopper.
- a condiment/mustard jar with a silver-plated frame with a flap lid with recess and a pointed knob on the lid.
The silver-plated holder has a heart-shaped handle and stands on ball feet.
Art Deco period, 1920s - 1930s.
Marked on the bottom of the holder: EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver) 795. All bottles have a polished pontil mark.
Dimensions: 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm and 18.5 cm high.
In beautiful pre-owned condition with normal signs of wear. One of the sprinkle caps has some corrosion spots.
