Denby Pottery Arabesque lidded hot pot
SKU: SD544Ironstone lidded and handled bowl from the successful Arabesque series by Denby Pottery. This Gill Pemberton design was inspired by a trip to Russia. Hand decorated with ocher yellow, brown and red circles against a dark brown background. Initially marketed under the name Samarkand, but later changed to Arabesque as Portmeiron Pottery released a service under the same name. The series was in production from 1964 to 1984.
The bowl has a lid with a recess for a spoon and its size is ideal for serving a warm sauce or for storing olives or other tapas.
Dimensions: diameter 11.5 cm, height measured without lid 8 cm, including lid 10 cm.
Condition: excellent.
