Two-piece porcelain tea egg in the shape of a stylized seated Japanese person dressed in kimono. The two parts consist of the head, which is a tea egg with screw cap and a metal chain, and the body that functions as a drip tray. The figure is painted in overglaze polychrome.
Made in Germany, early 1920s.
Dimensions: diameter 5 cm, height 11 cm.
Condition: no damage, some wear to the painting on the kimono, see photos.
