Ancora Nove Italy hand painted faience pottery fruit colander with drip plate
SKU: AW385Colorful painted faience pottery fruit colander with matching drip plate. The set was made by Ancora, a workshop located in the pottery town of Nove in Italy. Colander and plate are both decorated with a wide band of imposed fruit, hand painted in fresh colors.
Both parts are marked on the base with the Ancora stamp and the blind marks Made in Italy and the production numbers (9665/25 for the colander and 9988/28 for the plate).
Dimensions: the plate has a diameter of 28.5 cm, the colander has a diameter of 27 cm and is 6 cm deep.
Condition: in beautiful, used condition, the drip plate has a chip on the edge, see photo 7.
