Waechtersbach oyster plate

This design by Albin Müller, made of cream-colored and chic gray / taupe-colored glazed earthenware, dates back to 1906 but is timelessly classic and adapts effortlessly to any style. Spacious oyster plate in the shape of a flatfish, suitable for 6 oysters.
Marked on the underside with the pressed Waechtersbach mark, which is the Ysenburg city coat of arms, but resembles a beehive, and the model number 3836/0 and in brown the stamped Waechtersbach mark and below 'Made in West Germany'. Made in the 1950s in the Waechtersbach Steingut factory in Schlierbach, Germany.
Dimensions: 28 cm from beak to caudal fin x 24.7 cm. The edge is 3.4 cm high.
