Vallauris barbotine oyster plate
SKU: SD870Barbotine oyster plate, made in the French pottery town of Vallauris, known for the studio that Picasso had there for several years.
The plate is glazed in the spectacular colour combination of brown, orange-red, turquoise and yellow. It has 6 compartments for oysters and a compartment in the middle for lemon or vinaigrette.
Dated 1960s - 1970s.
Dimensions: diameter 24 cm.
In excellent pre-owned condition.
