Cabinet cups
The cabinet cup is a richly decorated cup and saucer that was purchased as a gift or by collectors. The decoration is often theme-oriented. Very popular in the second half of the 18th century to the mid-19th century. The shape, size, delicate decorations and excessive use of gold distinguish the cabinet cups from cups for everyday use.
